(Flower) Holidays
The first quarter of the year is behind us and so are the first holidays. Here's a brief review.
Valentine's Day:
The mild weather in January and February meant a high demand for the traditional rose. All throughout Europe, subjects of (secret) admirers and loved ones were treated to beautiful pot roses from Nolina.
International Women's Day:
The political situation in Eastern Europe meant an unsettled period just before Internationals Women's Day. Even so, Nolina was able to satisfy demand, and sales in Russia and its neighbouring countries were also worthwhile! We're looking forward to International Women's Day 2016!
Easter:
Spring is slow in arriving this year, but the usual demand for yellow has so far been overwhelming. Wherever possible, everyone obtained their ideal Easter mix.
Garden plants
At Nolina, the garden plant season has taken off to a good start. The early-flowering Clematis with its clouds of white flowers is once again available. A real eye-catcher in every garden!
In addition to the Evergreen Clematis collection, the season for Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls' is getting under way. This gorgeous, profusely flowering Wisteria is a unique variety. Why? Because Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls' flowers on new vines every year. Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls' even produces a second flowering in the autumn.

In addition to the early-flowering Evergreen Clematis collection, Nolina has two more wonderful Clematis varieties in its assortment: Clematis 'Boulevard', which can be used both indoors and outdoors, and Clematis 'Regal', a splendid double-flowering variety. A true sight for sore eyes.
These two impressive Clematises become available at the end of April.
